Warning signs

Signs Your Gutters Need Repair

If you’ve seen any of these, call before the next storm. LA’s first big rain is when most gutters fail.

  • Water pours over the edge instead of running to the downspout
  • A run sags, or pulls away from the fascia board
  • Holes, open seams or rust spots along the gutter
  • Pieces of gutter or downspout on the ground
  • Water pooling next to the foundation after rain

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still wondering about something? Call or text (310) 533-7730.

How long does a gutter installation take?

Most homes are done in one day. Two-story rooflines, long runs or custom work can take longer, and we’ll give you a timeline with the quote.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

Once a year is the baseline, in the fall before the rains start. Homes under heavy trees fill up faster and often need cleaning more than once a year.

How much do new gutters cost?

Every house is different. Price depends on how many feet of gutter you need, the material, how many stories the house is, and how many downspouts. Call, text or send the form and we’ll give you a free estimate before any work starts. Estimates are valid for 90 days.

What kinds of gutters do you install?

K-style, box, round, fascia and copper gutters. All but copper come in 30 colors with matching downspouts; copper is left unpainted. We’ll help you pick the style that fits the house.

Should I repair my gutters or replace them?

If the problem is a sagging run, a leaking seam or a small hole, a repair usually does it. If the metal has rusted through in several places or the gutters are too small for the roof, replacement is the better buy. We’ll tell you which one we’d do.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes: 12 months on craftsmanship and material, 3 months on cleaning.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. SoCal Rain Gutters LLC holds California contractor license #1144568, and we’re licensed, insured and bonded. We’re also a BBB Accredited Business with an A rating.

What areas do you serve?

25 neighborhoods and cities across Los Angeles, from Malibu and the Westside to central LA, the Valley and Pasadena. See all service areas.

Do I need to be home during the work?

Not usually. As long as we can reach every side of the house, you don’t have to be there. We send before-and-after photos when the job is done.

What happens if it rains on the day of my appointment?

We don’t work on wet roofs. If it rains, we’ll move the job to the next open day that works for you.

Do you clean up after the job?

Yes. We clean up after every job, and we show you before-and-after pictures of the work.
